Lindsay Lohan says just because Sam Ronson isn't with her 24/7 doesn't mean they're on the rocks.
"Today I was out with my friend Jamie and paparazzi wouldn't stop asking me where Samantha was," she writes on her MySpace Celebrity page. "And I'm not writing this blog because I feel like I need to prove that I'm with my girl to anyone at all ... it's just annoying.
"They should just stop asking altogether, once and for all, if she and I are broken up," she goes on.
See the many people Lindsay Lohan has loved over the years.
If they did split, Lohan says she'd announce it on MySpace "because I can just write, and I love writing, and I can prove all the liars wrong...
"Wow, the people that make s--t up must really feel silly, embarrassed, out of stories, scr*w*d, f*ck*d, punk'd, and so much more," she says.
It used to be that Lindsay Lohan was never without a party or a crazy night at the clubs, but these days, the former wild child says she's traded in all-nighters for staying at home with galpal Samantha Ronson.
“I watch a lot of TV. More than I’ve every watched because I don’t go out every night," she tells Extra in an interview airing tonight. "There’s nothing that I really have to go out anymore for. I’m out with Samantha and she’s DJ’ing and so I am supporting her.”
As for scrapes with the law and drug problems, don't expect to see this newly made homebody to be getting into trouble any time soon.
“I’ve learned my lesson at an early age and I am very thankful for that," the rehabbed young star confesses.
Vanessa Williams is defending Lindsay Lohan after the news that her role was cut short on Ugly Betty due to attitude problems. As we reported previously, Lindsay’s role on the show was cut from six episodes to four, fueling speculation that she was acting like a diva on set. But Vanessa insists it’s not true, and that Lindsay was nothing but professional on set.
She says, "That’s what the press does, that’s what gossip’s about, and media is about. I had a few scenes with Lindsay. She was a hard worker, she showed up on time and in the scenes I had with her, she was completely prepared. In terms of me working with Lindsay, she was professional, she knew her lines and she was great with me."
The actress filed a motion on Wednesday, asking the judge to ban any filming of her upcoming deposition.
Her lawyers also asked that no transcript or description of the deposition be entered into the public record.
Lohan, 22, is preparing to give testimony in a case filed by girlfriend Samantha Ronson. (The DJ is suing her former lawyers, claiming they failed to adequately represent her in a previous lawsuit.)
The documents claim that a videotaped deposition would "unduly embarrass, oppress and burden" Lohan. They also claim it's a "virtual certainty" that a video or transcript "will be illegally exploited by the media."
Lindsay may not ever return to her A-list status again, but she's taken the steps to ensure that she has other areas of work to pursue. Linds just launched a brand development firm called 6126, which will focus on expanding her leggings line, creating a natural self tanner, and creating an accessories line.
She may have realized she was pricing her leggings just a tad too high, and says her next collection won't break the bank quite as much. She says, "It'd be unfair not to make it accessible for everyone. Forever 21 and H&M are huge companies because they make it available to everyone."
Oh my goodness. Lindsay Lohan did something newsworthy! Illegal... but newsworthy. She's been so low key lately, I'm actually surprised this occurred.
Lindsay punched a photographer in the nose! She tripped and thought one of the paparazzi intentionally did something to cause her to fall. So she got up and punched the guy. According to TMZ:
Lilo was heading into The Bowery Hotel in NYC tonight -- the same place J.Lo is throwing is throwing a birthday party for Marc Anthony -- when she tripped over a metal barricade that had been set up. According to our guy on the scene, Lindsay must have thought one of the paps tripped her -- because she turned around and punched a photog in the nose! She was on the phone at the time and, after the punch, told whoever she was talking to, "Oh my God, I just hit a paparazzi."
TMZ is proming a video shortly...
Lindsay Lohan is in the October issue of Marie Claire. She gave an interesting interview addressing things like Samantha Ronson, rehab and more.
When asked is Sam is the reason for her turn around:
"She's a great person. And she's a great influence on people around her. But I think that anything that's changed in my life is because of me. I've gone through it and I've had to deal with it and I've made the decision to move forward. So yeah, she's a great person."
On Robert Downey Jr.'s life experience being similar to hers:
"He's an amazing actor," Lohan says of Downey. "Look at people like that who have gone through **** and had to work that much harder to get to where they are now."
"I've learned. I'll never go back. And it's not a never-say-never type thing - it's just, I know. I know."
On living in hotels:
"I didn't want to be alone, so whatever I needed I could just go downstairs and there were people there" - she now recognizes the unhealthiness of that. "It wasn't a way of life," she says. "Not very consistent."
On her dad:
"I don't know what's going on with it," Lohan says, wearily. "I haven't asked him any questions. Apparently we've been in the dark for so many years. We've gone through enough with him. Enough is enough." As a result, she's shutting down communication with Dad for a bit - "until he decides to be a grown-up."
Sorry guys, we won’t be seeing Lindsay Lohan nude again any time soon. Lindsay was offered to pose nude for Playboy’s 55th anniversary issue this coming January and she has apparently turned down the offer. According to Page Sixtt, Lindsay was offered $700,000 for an eight page spread in the mag and she’s turned it down because she’s soooo over posing nude.
"If there's nudity, then the answer's no . . . She's not going down the [New York] magazine road again," Lohan's rep told Playboy's creative consultant.
The first trailer is out for Lindsay Lohan’s upcoming comedy Labor Pains, which is currently in post production and is due for release next year. Lohan plays a disgruntled employee who cooks up a scheme to keep her job by claiming to be pregnant. She’s not pregnant, has to fake it, and hilarity hopefully ensues. The trailer makes it look like a decent comedy. I didn’t laugh or anything, but I also didn’t feel insulted or like I wasted a couple minutes of my time.
Lohan has been blogging a lot on her MySpace. Yesterday she said that Sarah Palin’s pregnant daughter took the focus away from her record and positions on the issues. She also recently blogged that she was looking for a specific type of ice cream for her girlfriend, Samantha, and while she didn’t quite call her that she did end the post with “this song [Trouble by Ray LaMontagne] is for sr, ILY” which pretty much means “I love you, Samantha Ronson.” That’s kind of sweet. Damn you, Lindsay Lohan, for making me start to like you again. You’re definitely poised for a comeback. Just continue to avoid all the drama your family tries to drag you down into.
