Lindsay Lohan has skipped her grandfather’s wake, going shopping with Samantha Ronson instead.

Lindsay’s father Michael is feuding with her after he called her girlfriend Samantha Ronson a ‘parasite’ who is using Lindsay to further her career.

The irony was not lost on Lindsay, who told Access Hollywood that her father saying he was ‘out of control’ and needs to stop speaking out in the media about her friends and family.

Samantha Ronson also hit back on her blog saying that Michael Lohan is ‘desperate for attention’.

Michael Lohan declared that Dina would be the one keeping Lindsay from her grandfather’s funeral and wake, but Lindsay’s public shopping spree probably suggests that she made up her own mind about going to her grandfather’s wake, and getting her picture taken elsewhere while it was on. She could have just stayed quietly at home. Michael originally said:

Michael told America’s OK! magazine: “My father just, literally, died in my arms. I notified all my kids and my lawyer notified my ex-wife Dina’s attorney. Let’s see if she has the decency and respect to bring my kids to the wake and funeral.

“THIS will show her true colours! Thus, not even a call. But that’s par for the course with Dina! She didn’t even send a card or visit when he was sick.”

I think this says a lot more about Michaels ‘true colors’ than anyone else’s. How much does your family dislike your media wh*re personality that they won’t even come and pay respects to the dead? The family must really be at odds to be miss a funeral, it makes many divorces look tame by comparison.
